So... tonight was the night. The air was crisp as dusk dissolved into night. Jess and I wished on the first star (well it was a planet, but anywho..) We didn't tell the other what the wish was, but mutually we both knew we wished for a successful fight...

Yes, we were going into battle on the field against the big birds... would us fruits make it through the night?

.... we fought and fought, and as we took new ground, we unfortunately kept on giving it back. It was a close match, both teams conceding nothing until the last seconds of the first half.... after that the rest was history.

Most of us did not think we would make it this far, this being our first season together. Will pointed out that "It would have been to much of a fairytale if we had won."

We all played well, and we had heaps and heaps of fun! Hopefully next season, we will stand where we were tonight, and win it.
