On Friday 26th October - We finally had a Bananaroos "wind up!" and did we accomplish a lot!

After work we first met up at Jess' place at Eden Park (Jess, Lils, Stoff, Kol, Will and I) and we went to get some dinner at Takas in Shafto Lane. But... for some odd reason we ended up having Soul BBQ (Korean) Which was still mega yummo.. Though I was really stuffed by the time I finished my BiBimbap.

We then made our way to Tigerlils to start with the Drinking fun! There was no line *fewf* and we made our way to the backroom where we saw Captain Seng working!!

Anywho, we then decided that we felt like a little innocent fun at timezone. So we ran back to Jess' place (because it started to rain!!!!!!!!) and grabbed Kol's car who took us to Northbridge.

Timezone was pretty fun! Ian C and Chi met us there and it got pretty hot as we were playing DDR and BBall shooting gaming thingo. The 3M took a lovegetti/neoprint for the first time as well!!!

We then trekked off to Eurobar to Meet the final Bananaroo member Ian I. But there was a line and we waited for ages in the cold and rain. Eventually Ian I came out to see us, but after a while we decided to make our way to the new club in town the "Library."

The Library was pretty cool! They did a nice job in converting the stingy Asian Hangout the Church into this romantic, gothic like place. Where there were bookshelves (for decoration purposes only) and dim lights, grand gothic furnishings... yea... quite sophisticated! Music was alright, it was some electric funk thing going on. There was also some "dancing" girls. who... yes. were very interesting!

After the Library we shot to Subiaco for some fun at the Sapphire Bar. This was pretty cool as the music was recognisable. (had some M Jackson playing!) Oh and some dooude made a play at Lils! WWWWEEEEEHEHEHEEE!!!! We stayed till about... 1ish I think, and then made our way back to Jess' place for some chilling out.

PJ party with Lils, Jess, Stoff, Will and I!!!! We played "the Game of life" till the wee hours in the morning, and then headed off to bed, awaiting for a Fast Eddy's Breakfast.

OHHHH baby... the "Ed's" Benedict Hit the spot at Fast Eddy's the Next morning. Great way to end the Bananaroo's outing!

Law Graduation Dinner

This weekend has been pretty busy... well sorta.

On Thursday night I went to the UWA Law Graduation Dinner at the Karrinyup Country Club. It was quite last minute decision as initially I wanted to go, but no one confirmed with me so I didn't get a ticket. By the time I found out people were going, I it was too late for me to get one. Luckily, Alison thought of me when she got word of a guy who was selling his ticket as he could no longer go! "CHA - CHING BABY!"

I just wore the same purple dress I wore for Will's 22nd Dinner/Asia Cocktail night. And yea... it was a very fun night indeed. It seems that I have peaked quite late re: the UWA Law social outtings. I've only gone to functions this year, and well, its my "final year." (Despite graduating mid next year). Yea... good fun! though I did not eat that much in comparison to drinking the red that had there.

Final Year Law Photo/BBQ

The next day, I came into uni early to have the final year group foto taken and for the BBQ afterwards. I must admit, I was annoyed I had to leave so quickly (as Calverley Johnston allowed me to have 2 hours off work for this function). But yea, I felt like, kinda sad. Sad in a way because, effectively this IS my last year, but not so sad, because I still have a semester left (as do most of my year group).

Anywho, heres some pics from that morning. Oh yea, if you are wondering what is that jacket heaps of ppl are wearing? its out Final Year Law Jumper. LOL so High School style.

The Bananaroos has finally reached the ultimate! Second Season in, and we have won the Finals of the UWA Mixed Division, Sem 2.

Its beautiful aint it? First season in, we made it to the finals, but then we unfortunately lost to the Socceremus and were runners-up.

This season, we made it to the finals... to play against the Socceremus again!

Redemption is sweeetttt hehehe.

The game was a heart stopper. Socceremus scoring early in the game, and then for the rest of the match, the Bananaroos playing hard until Ian I scored in exemplary fashion!

The game was a tie, and therefore had to be decided on penalties, and then sudden death.

Will did a stupendous job on saves as goalie (throughout the game, and during the penalties and sudden death).

Congrats to Stoff scoring his first goal which ended up being the winning shot in the death match.

Good stuff to Ian C (no longer deemed "side post Ian") and Kol for getting the other goals in (I cant remember Kol stacking it this game... WOW)

Girlies... we did us proud = D 3 M all the way!

I think this season, we all had more fun, there certainly has been more team bonding and I cannot wait till Friday night for our celebratory drinks/night out!

I'm mega pooped atm...

So I will quickly give you the low down to Will's 22nd BBQ.

Good weather, good food, good maites, good booze = happy times

BBQ started at 12pm Sat 13 Oct and pretty much finished at 12am the next day. It was a small, and VERY intimate day. As evidenced in the photo montage I attempted to do today. (It is pretty crap, im not good at doing these).



This pic pretty much sums up the BBQ...Lotsa love being spread around. There was good meat, salad, beer, our sweatshop mojitos and games of dictionary and taboo.

Anywho... thanks for everyone coming, eating, hanging out and celebrating Will's 22nd. It was a great day!

Heya... another post! I am going well this week aye! About 3 posts this week... EEEK!!!

Tonight we all went to Southlands to play some Lazer Games, or "Zone Lazer" for Katie's Birthday. I had not played it since I think year 9 with Jess and her crew at Zone 3 in the City... or maybe it was at a School council Camp... But yea... tonight was sooo mega fun!!! I forgot how cool it was... = D Felt so... covert, so James bond like, so Tomb Raider like...

... Or should I say... so GI Jane like? hehehehe... thought I'd brag and show off how I did. = D

Aaaah... Yea... today was my last shift working for Country Road (CR) at David Jones (DJs). It was weird. It felt like the usual shift... all of us complaining about how boring and how slow it was, and then there was part of me that did not want it to end. I enjoy working at DJs Karrinyup Menswear. Its the best working environment that I've worked at (for a casual retail job).

My CR boss came in, not to visit me, but to leave something for the other CR person. I felt really awkward handing her my formal letter of resignation. She was super nice to me, and I was super nice to her. Tho... I still felt like... "HrmMmM... shes still pissed at me."

Today I was lucky, everyone was on tonight... Claire Bear, Brucey Babe, Karri, Sarah, Fatty, Lou, Carla. Andrew had popped off work at about 3ish and we said our goodbyes then. I din get a chance to see Erin or Asha... but...

Awwww they got me choccies and a card!!!!!!!! Awwww I am sooo gonna miss working at Djs!!!


Things I'll miss:

• Gossiping with the girls, esp Claire, Geer and Karri... and Bruce.. he can be such a gossip queen too!
• "The Game" with Bruce, Price Checks! and whether the Price was Right or Wrong!
• Talking about random stuff in general!!!

Ok...

Accident Prone-ness
I'll have my rant for the day. WHY am I so accident prone?!?!? Why is my Achilles' heel my right ankle??!?!?

How embarassing, I was walking to my car with Jeff Ha, from the Law building after our final Comm Pract Class (WehehehEee no more comm pract tutes) and as we were talking I just randomly rolled my ankle! I was wearing thongs for god sakes!!! WHY!?!?!?

Its soo annoying.. now my ankle is tender...its still good. Not seriously injured... but still tender... like it stings when I sit cross legged. AUGH! How am I to stop rolling it??? Its soo Bad.

Naruto
Damn you Dean! Now I am hooked on Naruto!!! Its soo cool. I think I like it because it has the same format as Harry Potter, LOTR etc... the whole comradeship, teamwork, people with different skills, talents that are brought together and to fight for a common purpose.

Im a sucker for that. LOL

I love all things French
I went to 'Sugar and Spice' in Joondalup to obtain Will's bday cake... the owner is this Frenchman and he has won some awards for his pastries, cakes and pies... Augh.... they are to die for! Walking in there, it was jammed packed for a little stall and awww the pastries... sooo beautiful, so deliciously sweet looking... so precious...

I can see why Marie Antoinette loved her cakes now... and said "Let them eat cake."(Referring to the starving impoverished French people at the time... yes it is a bit rude and pretty mean but hey... they the French Pastries are just jewels!)

I bought one... yea... naughty.

Well yea... I was so buggered last night that I forgot to write about what actually made Will and I buggered!!!

Asia Cocktail man!!! It was such a GOOD night!!!! After dinner at Jackson's we sped home to grab our tickets, pick up Megan (Who was to drop us at Metros and then take the car back) get some moola out of the ATM and arrived at metros around 10.30ish.

The music was sooo good! Its was contemporary stuff which EVERYONE knew!!! And... what made the night soo good was that there were heaps of people that we knew there. It was amazing. The company was cool, our group was fun, the drinks were good... I forgot the fact that we were in the older tier of the group there because.. damn... did we act to the contrary! we showed those youngsters how to parrrttaaeee!!! heheehe...

The ASIA comittee did a pretty good job on the entertainment. They had pole dancers on stage behind a screen which was very interesting for me. I have stopped pole dancing for a bit just coz of work and uni and stuff, but watching them doing all the moves... its made me want to go back again!!! I forgot about how COOL it loooks... because after doing it for almost a year, it becomes more so about exercise, technique, and strength... you forget about how friggin cool it looks!!! Most of the moves displayed i could do too!!! though the girls were really good... they were prob the instructors because they had the stamina to say on the poles, hold their poses, and stay on the pole instead of sliding off it and getting back on it again.

We ended up leaving around 3ish 4ish i think... and Chrissy was nice enough to give us girls a lift to Fast Eddy's for an early breakfast! We all ended leaving around... say.... 6ish... which was freaky as... because Saturday morning was already here, and the sun... ooh... i felt like a fleeting vampire... trying to race against the rising sun to get home and sleep! Thanks to Kim for taking us home!!!!

Friday 5 2007 = A really good night.

Will's Bday Dinner

I made a booking for Jackson's Restaurant a month ago. I have always wanted to go there, as all I have heard was terrific things about this place, and I thought it would be a great place to treat Will for his birthday.

To make it even more spesh, I went out and bought a dress... a purple boob-tube thingo! It was a really pretty dress!!! Though I do wish I had more time to figure out my hair. I had to get ready (shower, dressed, hair, make-up) in 20 Mins... I am getting pretty good at getting ready in a rush... But it is SOOO annoying. I miss being able to get ready to music in my own time!

Anywho... we drove to Highgate. I had hoped to keep where we were going as a surprise... but I ended up telling Will, who in the end had already sorta had Jackson's Restaurant in his mind because when his mom asked him where I was taking him, he said "somewhere in Highgate" and his mom instantly guessed Jackson's.

Anywho... after finding the place and finding parking (which is a bitch!) Once we entered the restaurant... oooh... it was good! The setting was very comfortable, very intimate. The lighting was dim which I guess added to the effect. The service... was VERY VERY good. Wait staff was very friendly, tentative, and very helpful with wine selection and explaining the menu. What we ended up ordering was...

Well so much has happened.

I've just finished all my assessments for the year! Now all I gotta do is start revising for the exams... crap... the year has gone by so fast... I really cannot believe it aye.

Happy Birthday Will for October 2!!! Sadly because Will is now a working man, we could not spend the day together.. though I still was able to see him, as Will had left his wallet in my Soccer bag on Monday night, and could not get into work without it. So I made an early trek to the City before uni to see him at 8.30am! But Friday night is Will's night! I'm taking him for a super nice dinner!!! and then we are gonna head in for a super night out at ASIA COCKTAIL at Metros Northbridge.

Back tracking now... The long weekend that had just passed was a busy one and one that we sooo needed! The week before I had 3 assignments to get done in 7 days... AAAAHH!!! Then I had work at Country Road 9.30am-9pm on Thursday, Work at Calverley Johnston on Friday 9-5 and then again at Country Road on Saturday 9-5...

THE LONG WEEKEND
Sat night we went to Kean's place for a BBQ... for... his birthday! Oh... i stuffed my face with thier salad and the pine nuts... and yea... now ive got this bitter taste in my mouth after I eat... all coz i ate so much pine nuts!

Sunday Will took me out for a drive down to Mundaring Weir. The weather was alright, the clouds threatened to rain on us but never really did. We ate pizza at Little Caesar's which was Yuper YUMMO! I DO recommend it, the desert pizza rocks aye!

That night we went to the Ruby Room at Burswood. It was really good! I have not been out clubbing and dancing in ages! I soo miss it! I miss just singing and dancing my lil heart out! It was really good to catch up with everyone as well. Really good especially after being a little hermit doing all those friggin assignments.

Monday Will and I went to the Royal Show with Vodafone Drew and Amy. Geez Ive not been since High School... and it was pretty good! Amy and I bought the "new woman" showbag which had 3 mags and the most important part... Peter Alexander Slippers! Im sooo bringing it to China....

The Decision to go to China

During my period of turmoil with assignments galore, I submitted my application to go to China for 10 weeks to learn Mandarin... Yea.. I was "ummm-ing" and "aaahh-ing" for soo long. I had filled out the application and was about to submit it last year... but after rationalising the costs etc... I did not submit it then.

This year... it is as if all caution has been thrown into the wind... and I submitted it in! Megan was a BIG help. I was 95% ready to go... but when Megan was like"YES ill come" it made that 5% for me to take the plunge!

So Ive booked my tickets with Stevie wonder!! (Steven Moylan) and at this point of time, I am leaving on 22 November!!! I should be home around the 4th of Feb next year... aaaaah... hopefully I'll be able to speak another language! Im soo excited now!

The W660i

Will being a working man now, decided that he wanted to go on a plan... so yea... that would pretty much make my 300 free mins on my Optus prepaid worthless, as he would move to either Vodafone or 3. So I decided to move with him to the 3 network... and with that decision, I got a new fone!!!! the Sony Ericsson W660i! Its sooo HOT! The coolest feature is the "track ID" function where the phone will record the song playing in the club or what you hear on the radio and it will tell you the name of the song and the artist! Soooo cool!.

HAIRSPRAY

This movie is SOOO GOOD! I was like smiling and bopping the WHOLE time! I sooo wanted to jump into the screen and start singing and dancing with them all. An WOW little Zac Efron... what a little hottie. LOL Id make him my toyboy. LOL Go see it! really really good! I think I prefer it over Dreamgirls! Its so much fun to watch!.
